Amanda Leigh is a passionate instructor who has always been intrigued by the mind-body connection.
Growing up in Charlotte, North Carolina, Amanda was award winning theatrical actor, competitive cheerleader and classically trained dancer. She spent every day moving and working on fitness.
She began a new chapter in her life in 2014 when moving to Dallas, Texas. Shortly after the move she discovered the brilliance of the Pilates method. Upon certification under Club Pilates she began her career. Shortly there after she gained her second certification under the Tutelage of Rebecca Becker, creator and founder of the Pilates suspension method. Amanda is currently working on her next certification with Pilates academy international and continues to perfect her practice within the Pilates world.
She is so excited to share her journey and hopes that it will inspire others to stick with their goals and stay committed to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Joanna Kasprzyk Dubai, UAE
Joanna Kasprzyk has an Architectural background with which she has pursued a career in the Nuclear Industry for about 10 years. Her move to Dubai 16 years ago helped her discover Pilates, which she has fell in love with straight away. She adapted her Pilates experience into every day activities. Seeing how it trasformed her posture, balance, mobility and strength, she was inspired to pursue it further. Joanna is certified Pilates Mat & Reforer Instructor with Balance Body, as well as certified Prenatal/Postnatal Instructor with the Center for Woman’s Wellness. Lauren believes that Pilates truly is for everyone and is committed to presenting her clients with individualized, fun and challenging classes that are rooted in the Pilates principles. Lauren is a Certified Pilates Suspension Method (PSM) instructor and completed her comprehensive Pilates training with Balanced Body. Laura has had a love for dance since she was a child; taking up ballet from age nine and jazz into her teens. Later these practices led her to explore yoga and pilates, which she fell in love with both instantly. She later trained with many well-renowned teacher in both disciplines.
Laura has been an International teacher since 2004; where she spent three amazing years teaching in Nagoya, Japan.
She now lives and teaches in Dubai, UAE, and has been there since August 2007. She is a certified yoga teacher through the Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 200 as well as a certified Pilates teacher through the Pilates Mehod Alliance. She is also a Balanced Body Pilates master instrutor trainer, a teacher of the Booty Barre program created by Tracye Mallett, a faculty instructor trainer for The Center for Women’s Fitness created by Carlyne Anthony and now very delighted to be a part of the Pilates Suspension Method created by Rebecca Beckler. Laura holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Colombus College of Art & Design. Her love for fine arts has also been with her since she was a child. Laura continues to fabricate mixed media paintings and collage owrk. Her love for fibrous materials is felt within each piece. They are often tactile in many ways and encompass a deeper meaning of life woven together.

Dee is an owner of DeFine Pilates & Fitness in Perth, Australia. Dee is fully qualified in Personal Training, Sports Massage, Pilates Matwork and the Pilates Suspension Method. She is extremely passionate about the Pilates Principles and applies them to all of her functional training programs. Over the years she has worked with high end Professional Athletes through massage, functional training and pilates. In this time she has seen the importance of what the Pilates instructor has to offer to the human body. Dee is the first certified instructor in Australia to bring the Pilates Suspension Method across from the USA. Shelia Donovan, Canton Massachusetts
Shelia Donovan is the heart, soul and founder of the Pilates Studio in Canton, Massachusetts. Shelia’s fitness journey began with a BS degree in Exercise Science/ Kinesiotherapy from Norfolk State University followed by 13 years employed as a Kinesiotherapist with the Veterans Administration Hospital. She relocated to Massachusetts in 1998 and graduated from the Massage Institute of New England. Gaining her National Certified Massage Therapist license in 1999, she remains an active AMTA member. At about the same time, Shelia became a personal trainer, receiving her certification through the American College of Sports Medicine. Shelia has trained in STOTT® Pilates since 1998 and became a fully certified STOTT Pilates Instructor in all aspects of Pilates, advanced Mat & all equipment; both level 1 and level 2. In her pursuit of rigorous academic credibility she undertook the Functional Anatomy for Movement and Injuries Program twice at Mt. Sinai Medical School and is now an alumnus with access to cutting edge research in musculoskeletal conditions. In 2003, she began her Gyrokinesis® / GYROTONIC® exploration which added a missing piece to her mind body practices. The system was created by Juliu Horvath, to rehabilitate himself as an injured dancer. Shelia trained with master trainers Kathy Van Patten of Boston and Sebastian Plettenberg of New York City. During 2004, she completed level one teacher training and completed her certification by Juliu Horvath as a GYROTONIC® and Gyrokinesis® trainer, followed by Level 2 GYROTONIC® and specialized equipment. In caring for her own wellness and desire to continue running 10K/5K races and marathoning, (Shelia has completed 35 marathons and won 3) Shelia pursued Yamuna Body Rolling and became a certified Instructor of Trainers. She utilizes the Yamuna Body Rolling and all of the above methods proactively to prevent injury for herself and her students. Martha Dobbs, New York City
Originally from Detroit, MI, Martha attended Wayne State University where she earned her BFA in Dance. While at WSU, she had her first true introduction to Pilates and later received a scholarship to begin her mat certification. In 2009, she moved to New York City where she danced professionally for modern dance companies and abroad, most notably for Holland America Cruise Lines. In 2012, she earned her STOTT Pilates Certification and began teaching regularly. Her continued interest in health and wellness spurred Martha to gain more certifications including Pre/Post Natal Pilates, TRX qualification, Gyrotonic licensure, and most recently Pilates Suspension Method. Martha has taught PSM in New York City and Michigan and is available to teach upon request nationwide.
Lea Rosbeck, Massachusetts
Lea Rosbeck earned her Bachelors in science for Occupational therapy at Quinnipiac University, and is a fully licensed and registered OT. She is a certified Pilates instructor through Balanced Body. Lea has been a student of Pilates for 7 years and has become interested in the rehabilitative aspects of the Pilates method. She continues to expand her knowledge and experience through continuing education and course work, some of which include anatomy in 3D and exploring courses in the integrative fitness program. She is TRX qualified and was instantly hooked on the Pilates suspension method combining her love for Pilates with increasing the balance challenge and finding a stronger connection to her back body. Addie Ungaretti, Washington DC
Addie Ungaretti has been teaching Pilates since 2008 and loves to help people reach their fitness goals. While in graduate school, she began teaching Barre, yoga and mat Pilates on the side. She realized that she wanted to pursue Pilates full time and did her 700 hour comprehensive training at Quantum Pilates in Washington, DC. To deepen her Pilates education, she has taken many specialized workshops and trainings such as Pilates for Neurological Conditions, Pre and Post Natal Pilates and Pilates for Special Injuries. Addie discovered the Pilates Suspension Method and is thrilled by all the options that it gives her clients (and herself!) for their workouts. She currently teaches in Burke, VA where she lives with her husband and two daughters and hangs off her straps in her garage whenever she can.
Amanda Stimac, St. Louis, MO
Amanda became certified as a Pilates Instructor in January 2018. After she started taking Pilates classes for a year. She is certified through The Pilates Center in Boulder, CO.
Amanda found Rebecca and the Pilates Suspension Method on Instagram. She loved watching the videos of the exercises and started looking at workshops to attend. When the PSM Retreat in Scottsdale was posted, she knew she had to attend. She contacted Rebecca and signed up. The PSM Retreat was amazing, full of so much information and now she is a certified PSM Instructor.

Colleen Tomlinson, Plettenberg Bay, South Africa
Colleen is the owner and founder of The Pilates Studio Plett. Her passion for Pilates began over 10 years ago when she experienced the rehabilitative, physical and mental benefits of Pilates while overcoming a severe sporting injury. Having always been passionate about sports and fitness and representing 3 different sports at both State level and National level, she has worked in fitness training for almost 20 years. She has a degree in Human Movement Science and Anatomy and Physiology, a Diploma in Sports Massage and Injury Management and a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education. I have also completed my training with the Stott Pilates® Advanced Certification in Mat, Reformer, Stability Chair, Ladder Barrel and Cadillac, as well as being a certified bootybarre® instructor.
Once she discovered the PSM method she knew that this was finally the combination of fitness training, strength training and Pilates that she has been looking for.
Her goal is to help others discover the incredible benefits of a balanced, strong body. Nancy Dengler, South West, Florida
Nancy started dancing at a young age, she studied pre-professionally as a young adult and went on to complete a BFA in Dance at Temple University. She was formally introduced to Pilates in college and quickly actualized the positive impact it had on her performance, injury prevention and overall improved wellbeing.
She did her Pilates teacher training from 2001-2002 while pursing executive leadership in arts administration. She started teaching Pilates more regularly at local studios in 2008 and opened her own fully equipped home based studio in 2012. Nancy was introduced to the Pilates Suspension Method in 2019 and was inspired by the work and excited to deep dive into the Method. She loves to think that the instability of the straps in the vertical plane is a natural progression to the development of Pilates equipment and challenge.
Nancy is an RYT500 and perpetual student of Ashtanga Yoga; her work on and off the yoga mat continues to flow through her work as a Pilates instructor and teacher.
Nancy endeavors to guide others to finding their joyful state of balance and wellbeing with positive and uplifting energy.

Gwen Swanson Vigorito, Millburn, New Jersey
Gwen Swanson Vigorito is the owner of Align Wellness Studio in Millburn, NJ and is a certified Pilates instructor through STOTT Pilates. Gwen holds a BFA in dance from Montclair State University, which is where she first discovered the benefits of Pilates as rehabilitation from a back/hip injury as well as restoration for the overall wellbeing of the body. She first worked as a Pilates instructor at Focus Physical Therapy in Upper Montclair, NJ which gave her insight into how to incorporate principles used in physical therapy to her Pilates work to increase body awareness. Over the years, Gwen’s Pilates career has continued to evolve and includes specializing in working with clients who live with neurological conditions such as MS, Parkinson’s, ALS and stroke. Gwen first found PSM after a co-worker suggested following Rebecca on Instagram. Well, she was hooked immediately! After hosting the Foundations and 2.0 course at her studio, Gwen took a little hiatus to focus on being a mother (a lifelong dream come true) to her daughter, but picked up right where she left off to become a certified PSM Instructor and most recently a certified PSM Instructor Trainer. Gwen loves sharing the inspired work that Rebecca has created in a safe, effective and fun way!
